A) Introduction - top

MyBizCMS is a complete and fully functional Sales, Marketer and Client Relationship Management system. Drive your sales operations from quotes to invoices with all the information you need, easily accessible. Keep track of long term contracts, automate invoicing and notify sales when they have things to do. MyBizCMS helps you record sales lead types, sales stages, add marketers, new customers, register sales entries and create invoices and receipts. It also calculates commissions earned for every marketer. The whole sales process simplified in a simple modern light-weight system that will change how you do business. We also implemented an invoicing system so you can add discounts and taxes for certain customers when generating invoices. The receipts give a clear record of the payments done on that specific entry.

B) Installation - top

Configure database connection

You need to have previously setup database from the cPanel.

Here is a good tutorial how to setup MySQL database in cPanel if you are not familiar with this.

  1. Login to cPanel by accessing www.yourdomain.com/cpanel and navigate go MySQL Databases.
  2. Create database first.
  3. Create user and setup your password.
  4. Add the user to database by selecting the database and the username.

Make sure you have checked All privileged when adding the user to database.


Upload the files to your hosting folder and navigate to your base url http://yourdomain.com/install.


OK Let's Go!


Populate the fields according to your database and Click "Run the Install".

If any erros found while connecting you will be notified otherwise you should see the welcome screen


Fill all the required details and then "Install MyBizCMS"

After successful installation all you need to "Login" and you are good to go :)

Login using the company email and password used during installation

C) Dashboard - top

Dashboard consists of a summary of the system features.

D) Update Settings - top

After login update the company profile details. The details will be used when generating invoices and receipts.


IMPORTANT Update the email settings. The details will be used when sending emails to clients and marketers.


E) How to? - top

After all the settings are updated, under "Products" in the navigation, add your product categories.


Then add your products and services.


Update or define your own lead types and sales stages.

After all the settings are updated, you can add clients and marketers


New Entry
Submit your first entry. The client will receive a confirmation email of the entry. The details of the email are defined in the email settings of this system


Entries Summary
This page gives a summary of all submmited entries. To view the entry details, click on its # e.g 1 from the screenshot below.


Entry Details
View full details of the entry, edit entry, generate invoice, add payments, add comments. Once the amount for this product is fully paid, you can generate receipt from the same page.


Generate Invoice
Generate an invoice for the entry. You cannot add payments without first generating an invoice. The system will automatically email an attached invoice to the client.


Generate Receipt
This option is available if the amount payable for the entry is fully added through "Add Payments" to the system. The system will automatically email an attached receipt to the client.


F) Commission - top

The marketer of an entry earns % of Entry's Totals paid once the deal is won. Example if entry's total is USD 100 , commission value is 0.2 and the deal is won, the marketer earns USD 20 (0.2x100=20)

G) Orders - top

This feature requires MyBizCMS Clients addon (Available at codecanyon.net). Clients place orders from the addon. When an order is placed, it appears in MyBizCMS under Pending orders from where an admin or marketer can confirm or cancel. When an order is confirmed, it becomes an entry and appears under Entries Summary.
You are then required to generate an invoice for this entry so that payments can be done. From MyBizCMS Clients addon, then the client can pay via PayPal or Pesapal (More options underway).


H) Reports - top

From the "Reports" navigation, you can monthly, yearly reports. Also you can search based on a date range. The reports are on entries and payments.


I) Trash - top

From trash you can restore deleted items


J) Live or Sandbox - top

Change the payment modes either Sandox or Live under Company profile > PayPal settings, Stripe settings or PesaPal settings
